People 1st Advisors (P1A) Enters New Industry with Acquisition of Oasis Heating & Cooling, Leading Chicago HVAC
People 1st Advisors (P1A), a Chicago-based, veteran-owned private investment firm, has acquired Oasis Heating & Cooling. Oasis is a Chicago based heating, cooling and ventilation firm, which will begin operations in Plumbing in Spring of 2024. P1A closed the transaction in partnership with the Company’s President and owner, Mirsad “Mike” Causevic. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

HC Private Investments (“HCPI”), a Chicago-based family office private equity firm, today announced that it successfully acquired QEI, Inc. (“QEI”) in partnership with the Company’s former owner and CEO, Normand Lavoie. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Erik VanLaningham has been named president of People 1st Advisors (P1A), a Chicago-based private investment firm.
Previously, VanLaningham held management positions for nearly two decades at Emerson, a Fortune 500 global technology, software and engineering leader serving industrial, commercial and consumer markets and was most recently global vice president with marketing, business development and strategic planning responsibilities.
ChiTown Futbol Acquired by Sofive Soccer Centers from People 1st Advisors
ChiTown Futbol, the indoor 5v5 soccer experience located in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood was acquired by Sofive Soccer Centers, from People 1st Advisors (P1A), a Chicago-based private investment firm, on Sept. 1.
ChiTown Futbol was originally acquired in 2019 by People 1st Advisors. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

People 1st Advisors (P1A), a Chicago-based, veteran-owned private investment firm, has acquired Anchor World Services, Elmhurst, IL, a family-owned commercial cleaning and janitorial service company.
The woman-owned (WBE) company has experienced dramatic growth in the past few years and was led by Tom and Suzi Prybolo, who will remain with the business. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Associa Acquires Community 1st Advisors (C1A)
Community 1st Advisors was acquired by Associa, the world’s leading management service company, on February 1, 2019. Included in the acquisition were six property management and accounting offices in the southeast U.S.
Part of the $70 billion association management Industry, Associa, with offices around the world, is the largest technology manager of condominium, homeowner and townhome associations, with more than $1 billion in revenues.
